Service Description

Bay to Bay Charters, is a Transport Canada certified Water Taxi Service to Friday Harbor, San Juan Island WA or to Sidney by the Sea on Vancouver Island BC. $545* for 2 people, $45* per additional passengers. * Prices are all inclusive of port fees and taxes, excluding the CBSA fee (see below). Departs Sidney, BC from Van Isle Marina at 9:00 AM and returns from Friday Harbor, WA departing at 11:00 AM. Crossing Time 1 Hour * Times may vary due to weather conditions. * Effective March 31st 2023 the Canada Border Service Agency (CBSA) has imposed a fee for water taxis, similar in that they charge for their Customs and Immigration service at all ferry terminals and airports with international arrivals into Canada. This fee is in the form of a "Cost Recovery Agreement" for clearance when passengers are disembarking into Canada only. This cost recovery fee is currently $225 CAD and is payable by Bay to Bay Charters, whether there is one (1) passenger or our max. eight (8) passengers on board, so the more the merrier and less expensive. Crazy I know, but please don't shoot the messenger. * By booking this voyage all passengers must supply passport information at least 48 hours before departure. Also if you or any of your party is inadmissible into the country of landing and need to be returned to the original port of departure, you will be charged accordingly. * $100 deposit cancelation clause. If you need to reschedule for another time or day that is available, a 48 hours notice is required and your deposit is still valid towards any of our services. If you're canceling all together, you will receive a 50 % refund of your deposit within the next 48 hours. Thank you and we hope to see you on board some time soon !!!
